Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups granulated sugar.
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk.
  • 1/2 cup salted butter.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows.
  • 1 teaspoon cherry extract.
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries chopped.
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter.
  • 2 cups chopped salted peanuts.

Instructions
 

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. This prevents sticking later.
  • Mix sugar, milk, and butter in a pot. Boil for five minutes while stirring.
  • Remove from heat and add marshmallows. Stir until they melt completely.
  • Fold in cherry extract and chopped cherries. The mixture will turn a pretty pink.
  • Pour the pink mix into a pan. Let it cool until it is firm.
  • Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • Stir the chopped peanuts into the chocolate. This adds great texture.
  • Spread chocolate over the cherry layer. Chill in the fridge for two hours.
