- 14 oz Goya Dry Green Split Peas
- 2.80 oz  Goya Chicken Bouillon
- 2.11 oz Goya Sazon (Without Annatto)
- 1Â Garlic Clove (Minced)
- 1 White Onion (Chopped)
- 1 large Carrot
- ¾ cup Smoked Ham
- 6 cups Water
- 1 tbsp  Olive Oil
- Black Pepper (to your liking)
- Salt (to your liking)
Wash and sort peas.Â
Heat oil in a pan. Add carrot, onion, garlic, and ham.
Cook for five minutes.
Heat 4 cups of water until boiling.
Add Sazon, peas, and Bouillon. Reduce heat and stir.
Cook for one hour.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add hot water if needed.
Serve in bowls. Top with cheese or croutons.
