Measuring Spoons
- 1 lb SALMON
- 2 tbsp SRIRACHA SAUCE
- 3 tbsp HONEY
- 1 tbsp SOY SAUCE
- 1 tsp GARLIC
- 1 unit LIME
- 2 cups RICE
- 1 unit CUCUMBER
- 1 unit AVOCADO
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Cut them into small, even-sized bite-sized cubes. Season them lightly with salt and black pepper.
Whisk the honey, Sriracha, and soy sauce together. Add the minced garlic and fresh lime juice. Stir until the sauce is completely smooth.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small splash of cooking oil. Let the pan get very hot before cooking.
Place the salmon cubes into the hot skillet. Sear them for two minutes without moving them. This creates a delicious, crispy outer crust.
Flip the salmon cubes over carefully. Pour the honey Sriracha mixture into the pan. Let the sauce bubble and thicken quickly.
Toss the salmon gently to coat every piece. Cook for another two minutes until glazed. Remove the skillet from the heat immediately.
Scoop cooked rice into large serving bowls. Arrange the glazed salmon cubes on top. Add your favorite fresh sliced vegetables around them.
- Always pat the salmon dry before cooking it.
- Do not crowd the skillet with too much fish.
- Use fresh lime juice for the best bright flavor.
- Watch the honey closely so it does not burn.
- Cook the rice ahead of time to save minutes.
- Add red pepper flakes for even more extra heat.
- Cut salmon into equal sizes for even cooking times.
- Garnish with sesame seeds for a professional look.
