Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Crush pretzels in food processor until fine.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Set up three stations: flour, eggs, pretzels.
  • Dredge chicken in flour first.
  • Dip in beaten eggs completely.
  • Coat thoroughly with crushed pretzels.
  • Place on wire rack over baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Check internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan.
  • Add cream and mustard, whisk smooth.
  • Add cheese gradually until melted.
  • Serve chicken with warm sauce immediately.
