Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 8 oz egg noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • Drain noodles and set aside.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef to hot skillet.
  • Cook beef until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic and ginger to beef.
  • Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch.
  • Pour sauce mixture over beef.
  • Stir constantly for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked noodles to skillet.
  • Toss everything together for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with green onions before serving.
