Set your oven to 220°C.
Line a baking sheet with paper.
This stops scones from sticking.
Put flour in a big bowl.
Add the baking powder.
Mix them well together.
Add cold butter cubes to flour.
Use your fingers to rub it in.
It should look like breadcrumbs.
Stir in the caster sugar.
Mix it evenly through the flour.
Beat eggs and buttermilk together.
Save one tablespoon for later.
This is your glaze.
Pour wet mix into dry mix.
Stir with a knife gently.
Stop when dough forms.
Put dough on floured surface.
Roll to 2cm thick.
Cut with round cutter.
Press down straight.
Place scones on baking sheet.
Brush tops with saved mix.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
They should be golden.
Move scones to wire rack.
Let them cool slightly.
Serve with jam and cream.
