Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs fresh longjaw mud snapper fillets
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Pat fish fillets completely dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper evenly.
  • Mix olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  • Marinate fish in mixture for 15 minutes only.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add fish fillets to hot pan carefully.
  • Cook for 4 minutes without moving the fish.
  • Flip fillets gently using fish spatula once.
  • Cook second side for 3 minutes more.
  • Add butter and paprika to pan immediately.
  • Baste fish with melted butter mixture continuously.
  • Remove from heat when fish flakes easily.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
