Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup salted butter softened.
  • 2 cups white granulated sugar.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract.
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda.
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt.
  • ½ cup sour cream.

Instructions
 

  • Mix the butter and sugar together. Use a mixer until it is fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one by one. Stir in the vanilla extract well.
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Slowly add this to the wet mix.
  • Add the sour cream to the dough. Mix until the dough is smooth.
  • Wrap the dough in plastic. Put it in the fridge for one hour.
  • Roll the dough on a floured surface. Use cutters to make fun shapes.
  • Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not let them get too brown.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for easy mixing.
  • Do not skip chilling the dough.
