- 4 cups fresh strawberries hulled.
- 1 cup granulated sugar.
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice.
- 1 pinch of salt.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Wash your strawberries well. Remove all the green stems.
Put berries in a large pot. Use a masher to crush them. Leave some small chunks for texture.
