- 2 lbs large raw shrimp.
- 1 lb smoked andouille sausage.
- 1 lb small red potatoes.
- 3 ears of fresh corn.
- 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning.
- 2 lemons cut in halves.
- 1 large yellow onion.
- 4 cloves of minced garlic.
- 1/2 cup melted salted butter.
Fill your large pot with water. Add the Old Bay and lemon. Bring it to a rolling boil.
Add the potatoes to the pot. Cook them for 15 minutes. They should be almost soft.
Put in the sausage and corn. Boil them for 5 more minutes. The corn gets very sweet.
Add the shrimp at the very end. Cook for only 2 or 3 minutes. Stop when they turn pink.
Drain the water using a colander. Toss everything with melted garlic butter. Serve it warm.
