Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1 cup whole milk.
  • 1 large egg beaten.
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease your loaf pan well.
  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Use a large bowl for this.
  • Stir in milk, egg, and oil. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  • Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together. Use a small separate bowl.
  • Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top.
  • Add the remaining batter. Top with the rest of the cinnamon. Use a knife to swirl it.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Check with a toothpick for doneness.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter.
  • Use fresh baking powder for height.
  • Let it cool before you slice it.
  • Add nuts for a crunchy texture.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper.
