Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour.
  • 1 cup light brown sugar.
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar.
  • 1 stick salted butter melted.
  • 1 large egg.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line your pans with parchment paper.
  • Beat the sugars and melted butter together. Use a mixer for about two minutes.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract. Whisk until the mixture is very smooth.
  • Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Do not overmix the dough.
  • Gently stir in the chocolate chips by hand. Use a large spoon or spatula.
  • Drop large scoops onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
