Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter.
  • 1 cup chopped white onion.
  • 1 cup sliced carrots.
  • 1 cup sliced celery.
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic.
  • 8 cups chicken broth.
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken.
  • 2 cups wide egg noodles.
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme.

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in your large pot. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until they are soft and clear.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve it hot in big bowls.
