  • Grater or food processor
  • Baking pan (9x13 inch)
  • Potato peeler
  • Knife
  • Whisk or fork
  • Oven mitts
  • Spoon 
  • Measuring Cups
  • Paper towels

Ingredients
  

  • 6 big potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Optional a little garlic powder
  • Optional a little paprika

Instructions
 

  • Turn on the oven to 425°F
  • Peel and grate the potatoes
  • Grate the onion
  • Mix potatoes and onion together
  • Press out the water with paper towels
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs
  • Add oil, salt, and pepper to the eggs
  • Add the potato mix into the bowl
  • Grease the baking pan with oil
  • Pour the mix into the pan
  • Bake for 60 to 70 minutes
  • The top should be golden and crispy
  • Let it cool a little, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. Dry the potatoes well so the top gets crispy
  2. Heat the oven before you start baking
  3. Add paprika if you want a little color and spice
  4. Yukon Gold potatoes make it soft and creamy
  5. Don’t cover the pan while baking—it won’t crisp up
