Italian Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 16 large white mushrooms
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth.
  • Remove the stems carefully.
  • Chop the stems into small pieces.
  • Set the mushroom caps aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan.
  • Add the minced garlic.
  • Cook for one minute.
  • Add the chopped mushroom stems.
  • Cook for three more minutes.
  • Mix in breadcrumbs, parmesan, mozzarella, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Stir everything together well.
  • Place mushroom caps on the baking sheet.
  • Fill each cap with the mixture.
  • Press down gently. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • The tops should be golden brown.
  • The cheese will be bubbly and delicious.
  • Take them out of the oven.
  • Let them cool for two minutes.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Use fresh mushrooms for better taste.
  • Don't wash mushrooms under water.
  • Just wipe them clean.
  • This keeps them firm.
  • Add more cheese if you want.
