Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh basil for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F first.
  • Grease your muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • This prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
  • You can also use butter instead.
  • Open the biscuit cans carefully.
  • Separate each biscuit onto your work surface.
  • Use a rolling pin to flatten them.
  • Make each biscuit about 4 inches wide.
  • Don't roll them too thin or too thick.
  • Press each flattened biscuit into muffin cups.
  • Make sure they cover the bottom completely.
  • The edges should come up the sides.
  • Press gently to remove any air bubbles.
  • Spoon one tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup.
  • Don't overfill or they'll get soggy.
  • Spread the sauce evenly with a spoon.
  • Leave a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce generously.
  • Add 4-5 mini pepperoni slices on top.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder lightly.
  • Add a pinch of Parmesan cheese too.
  • Place the muffin tin in your preheated oven.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • The cheese should be bubbly and melted.
  • The biscuit edges should look crispy.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  • Brush the edges with melted butter immediately.
