Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a pan.
  • Add taco seasoning and mix well.
  • Let it cool for five minutes.
  • Mix the cooked beef with both cheeses.
  • Stir until everything combines nicely.
  • The cream cheese makes it extra creamy.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle.
  • Make it about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut into strips, about 3 inches wide.
  • Place two tablespoons of filling on each strip.
  • Don't overfill or they'll burst open.
  • Leave space on the edges for sealing.
  • Fold dough over the filling lengthwise.
  • Press edges to seal them tight.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and garlic.
  • Bake at 375°F for 15-18 minutes.
  • They should turn golden brown and crispy.
  • Let them cool for 3 minutes.

Notes

  • Make sure your beef is completely cooled.
  • Hot filling will melt the dough too quickly.
  • Seal the edges really well to prevent leaking.
  • You can freeze unbaked sticks for later use.
  • Serve them with sour cream or salsa.
  • Add jalapeños if you like it spicy.
  • Use different cheeses for variety and fun.
  • Don't skip the garlic butter on top!
